An intact energetic potential that storms out and dashes into the environment. Differentiating Inhibition strength for Scorpio: the opponent. One perceives first and foremost what distinguishes, differentiates or separates beings, objects, feelings or ideas: one dissects, one discriminates, one split hairs, one refuses too easy associations or similarities. Clever, subtle, crafty, skillful, he slips through nets, zigzags between obstacles. His mind quickly grasps how beings and things function behind the scenes. He brilliantly knows how to use evasive promises and detailed threats, always ready to dodge as and when necessary, standing firm about the content while being very flexible in form.
Sense of opposites for Aries: the decision maker. Eliminating Inhibition weakness for Aries: the impulsive. Aries is unable to develop any indifference, to stay stone-faced, to remain phlegmatic. Difficulty or impossibility to forget, to boycot, to wipe the slate clean. He charges in no matter what, driven to intoxication by the present moment. He’s fearless, impulsive, impatient, daredevil, short-sighted. The weakness of oblivion underlines the importance of memory: first impressions are indelible. The lack of distance, therefore of thought, makes him naive, gullible, ready to believe anything.
Unblocking Excitation weakness for Scorpio: the prisoner. Locked up in the cell of one’s singularity, one is not able anymore to step outside oneself, outside one’s boundaries, to break free, to surpass oneself. One stagnates in the doldrums, one wades through the quagmire, ones sinks into the swamp. Decay, ghetto, oppressive environment, life sentence, prisoner of fate. Either braking is impossible: impulsiveness has no limits anymore, it’s a constant accident, a vertigo of ceaseless confrontation with the external environment, an endless going overboard. Or rebooting is impossible: he managed to brake but can’t release the brake anymore. He then builds himself monolithic and unilateral defence systems. His refusals are rigid and never change, whatever the situation is. Entrenched, morbid resentment and grudges. The imagination is fascinated by legends, by baroque myths.
Unadapted Excitation slowness for Scorpio: the vampire. Persistence of haunting images, need to organize and control in a closed environment: one feels vested with magical, unique, secret powers; one draws power from one’s immutable fixedness, from one’s intolerant subjectivity, from one’s systematic oppositions — futile just as well as haughty.
