The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
If and when Jupiter dominates : emphatic, authoritarian, too sure of yourself and of your unquestionable judgments, above all you fear peaceful anonymity. By dint of wanting at all costs to make yourself useful, to do something “good” with your existence, you neglect or forget your intimate sphere and the world of your familiars. Your eloquence is forced, you speak too loudly and too loudly, breaking with the atmospheres in which you evolve. You can put your personal interests ahead of any sense of solidarity, thus depriving yourself of valuable support. You can still interfere in yourself with all naturalness, all spontaneity for the sake of appearing “normal”, conforming to the models that regulate the social life of your environment. Your sketchy logic, your simplistic formalism risk “policing” your imagination, freezing all daydreaming in you. Untimely and interventionist, you don’t know how to let go, let beings and things follow their natural course.
If and when Jupiter dominates : you are so obsessed with the defense of your material interests, the development of your career plan and the satisfaction of your unbridled ambitions that you forget all nobility, all principles, all ideals. A brilliant conversationalist, flatterer or despotic depending on the circumstances, your shameless opportunism makes you a counter-example of good citizenship. The facade of respectability that you intend to maintain does not hide the little regard you give to individuals when your interest is at stake. Suffering from the syndrome of the “new rich”, you parade, boast and display your status without any concern for distinction. In a less dramatic register, you can be so well adapted to the laws and rules of your social environment that you completely forget to be your own model, to defend the rights of your individuality against the weight of conformity.
If and when Jupiter dominates : polarized by your ambitions, your quest for tangible power, or your overly reasonable view of the world, you cannot or do not want to open your mind to anything else. No question for you of useless encounters, of gratuitous curiosities, of marvelous discoveries : it has to pay off, that you derive concrete benefits or obvious usefulness from it. Wanting to be definitive, your sweeping judgments prevent you from any plurality of hypotheses, any change of point of view. By dint of wanting to have the merits of your acts and productions recognized, you tragically forget not to take yourself seriously. Your desire to be an exemplary representative of your group pushes you to blindly sacrifice your individual freedom, your irreverent fantasy, your spontaneity without blinkers. You pontificate at the expense of all humor.
If and when Jupiter dominates : Obsessed with your desire to be reasonable, to respect the conventions of your social environment, you neglect your affective relationships. Your desire to succeed at all costs, to have your achievements recognized in the public square, pushes you to neglect your own sensitivity and that of others. To satisfy your material ambitions and your thirst for respectability, you are ready to put aside your likes and dislikes, your epidermal sympathies and antipathies, and to seize an interesting opportunity, to evacuate all tenderness and all compassion. Beautiful and loud speaker, gifted for self-promotion and self-satisfaction, you are devoid of any charm, any seduction. You impose yourself with arrogance, you gargle with grandstand effects when you need to touch and move. You are ready without hesitation to build your economic and social success on the ruins of your heart.
If and when Jupiter dominates : obsessed with your desire to be reasonable, to respect the conventions of your social environment, you become incapable of reacting healthily, of acting as you feel. Your desire to succeed at all costs, to have your achievements recognized in the public square, pushes you to avoid any frankness, any authentic and necessary confrontation, even any courage. By dint of wanting to satisfy your material ambitions and your thirst for respectability, you come to ignore the most elementary realism. Handsome and loud speaker, good at self-promotion and self-satisfaction, you are a poor man in the field. You impose yourself with arrogance, you gargle with grandstand effects when you have to show what you are concretely capable of. Obsessed with your need to make yourself useful, you seem unable to act in a selfless way.
If and when Jupiter dominates : by dint of conforming to the norms and models that regulate social life, you are unable to distance yourself wisely from your experience. Your short-sighted materialism, your quest for public recognition and personal glory keep you away from any in-depth reflection. Your cookie-cutter judgments are alarmingly simplistic, the antithesis of any subtle investigation. You throw yourself voraciously and recklessly at any opportunity that might round out your kitty or speed up your career without worrying about the long-term consequences of your thirst for power and notoriety. You speak when you should be silent and only want to see the good side of people, things and situations—the one that goes in the direction of your goals and ambitions—even if it means dangerously underestimating the underlying difficulties.
If and when Jupiter dominates : you conform so perfectly to the laws and norms that regulate social life that you become incapable of expressing a personal, bold and innovative opinion. Against the intuitive and penetrating views of the mind, you oppose your simplistic common sense. An unrepentant talker, anxious to maintain the consensus of your group at all costs, you argue and negotiate excessively to preserve your prerogatives and your authority, refusing to take the clear-cut decisions that are sometimes necessary. You are against any radical revolution, any untimely upheaval, for the maintenance of your acquired privileges and your established power. Your ambitions, voracious and short-sighted, your unbridled opportunism prohibit you from any strategy of long-term conquest, any extreme intellectual or moral rigor.
If and when Jupiter dominates : in the name of simplistic common sense, you deny any reality to the manifestations of the strange. You conform so well to the laws and norms that regulate the life of your social group that you forget to listen to your moods, your inner voices, your deep sensitivity. And at the limit, it is without shame or qualms that you indulge in your craving for gloriole, for material success, putting the management of your personal interests above any feeling of collective solidarity. You impose yourself and brag, overwhelming people, things and situations with your sweeping judgments, disregarding all nuance and all subtlety. Your short-sighted opportunism leads you, by dint of neglecting your intuitions, to lack clairvoyance, to neglect the presentiments that cross you.
If and when Jupiter dominates : you adhere all the more strongly to the laws and norms that regulate life in society that you fear above all to be marginalized, rejected, sent back to the nothingness of an existence without a social showcase. Your alarmingly simplistic judgments and speeches seem to ignore the profound complexity of beings, things and situations. You feel that it is neither reasonable nor normal to display your difference, your singularity, your strangeness. You seem obsessed with satisfying your craving for glory and material appetites as quickly as possible, in defiance of all moral integrity, before death dispossessed you of everything. Your ambitions can be all the more ferocious and unbridled if they are built on contempt, rejection or ignorance of your deepest needs, your being-in-itself, your authenticity or universal values.
Les significations planétaires
par
620 pages.
