natural astrology or conditionalist astrology is based on the known and unknown laws of Nature: the reality of Heaven, with its physical and astrometric laws governing the planetary cycles, the diurnal-nocturnal alternation, and the biopsychological reality of Man on Earth. It studies the active adaptation of human beings to their natural environment, including the cosmos in general, and the solar system in particular. Rational, realistic and imaginative, natural astrology is a knowledge that lies at the crossroads of the exact sciences (physics, astronomy) and the human sciences (psychology, sociology).
The influence of planetary and zodiacal rhythms on individual and collective human behavior is exercised within the framework of genetic, sexual, socio-cultural, economic, political, historical, spiritual determinisms, etc., which modulate its effects. Astrological influence is therefore discontinuous, relative, and conditional. Hence the name of conditionalist astrology forged by Jean-Pierre Nicola.
Astrology and personality
The natal chart expresses tendencies and behavior-reflexes which structure in depth the attitudes and behaviors of the subject, and which constitute the essential base from which will be constituted the personality. Common sense and observation show that to the same zodiac-planetary configuration, to the same sky of birth, individuals can give different answers depending on the context in which they find themselves. The situation of the environment within which the individual develops his forms of conduct intervenes to help or counteract, to add or subtract from the amplitude and the intensity to the innate astral tendencies.
The regularity of the planetary cycles makes possible the forecast. Astrology in itself cannot make any eventual prediction, but it does make it possible to predict the various astro-psychological climates that an individual is likely to experience during his or her existence, periods during which the individual is required to confirm or to transform his way of living and to integrate the zodiaco-planetary configurations of his birth sky.
It is absurd to want to reduce the infinite diversity of human behavior to 12 astro-psychological types according to the Sign occupied by the Sun at the birth of an individual, or to 144 if we consider the couple Sun Sign-Rising Sign. The ten Planets, when classified by rank of power (this classification varies from one theme to another), give three million six hundred and twenty-eight thousand eight hundred combinations, which correspond to as many astro-psychological profiles. If we take into account the planetary positions in Signs, this figure rises to more than 43 million, and if we integrate the positions in Houses, to nearly five hundred million, a figure that can be doubled by considering that each planet can be classified as “consonant” or “dissonant”.
Astrology is more than a psychology or to a typology. She is also and above all a esotericism lively, subtle, traditional and contemporary, allowing those who take the trouble to learn about it to understand the mysterious links that unite the microcosm and the macrocosm, the Earth and the Sky, Man and universal Nature.
Natural, modern, conditionalist astrology is aimed at adult, conscious and responsible individuals, endowed with a good sense of observation and a solid critical spirit, which does not exclude the interest for authentic spiritual concerns.
It is also addressed to those who, having practiced classical astrology, have measured its fatalism, irrationality, lack of rigor and coherence, and are looking for precise and effective methods to progress in the knowledge and understanding of the relationship between Man and the macrocosm, and clear rules for interpreting a theme. Conditionalist astrology can also satisfy those who, skeptical but open, criticize the dominant conception of astrology by reproaching it for its symbolism disconnected from reality; those who, refusing the adulterated irrationality, nevertheless remain open to the unknown and think that the existence of a real relationship between Man and the solar system is not absurd.
Lastly, conditionalist astrology is aimed at those who wish to learn about their potential to be and to develop in order to better use it and better manage their life and their human relationships, as well as those who, out of personal curiosity or professional interest, need powerful and relevant tools to understand the mysteries, mysteries and complexities of the human psyche. The cosmotelluric vision of Man that conditionalist astrology offers them, going beyond the field of psychological typologies on all sides, is vast and deep, and respects everyone’s free will and spiritual integrity.
The Association for Research and Information in Natural Astrology, founded by Richard Pellard (author in particular of Handbook of universal astrology, Ed. La décision de ne traiter dans ce livre que des significations planétaires ne repose pas sur une sous-estimation du rôle des Signes du zodiaque et des Maisons. Pluton planète naine : une erreur géante

Pluton ne fait plus partie des planètes majeures de notre système solaire : telle est la décision prise par une infime minorité d’astronomes lors de l’Assemblée Générale de l’Union Astronomique Internationale qui s’est tenue à Prague en août 2006.
