The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
“Big P” issue (extensive Power). How to blend maintaining duos and duels (Mars ‘eE’) with maintaining the absolute multiple (Pluto ‘tT’)? How to operate together a pressing need for action and maximum aloofness? How to be frank and realistic while staying inscrutable? This aspect excludes levels ‘R’ (communicative sociability) and ‘r’ (decisive willpower).
In all circumstances, you demonstrate an active, cold and lucid realism. At the same time frank and secret, very present and hyper-distant, you put your dynamism without illusions at the service of an inexpressible deep truth or of the absolute unspeakable. Something inside you knows what you want, and you effectively give yourself the concrete means to achieve it. You are gifted for deep, corrosive action, for emerging victorious from subtle power struggles. You show in your experience a total and disconcerting authenticity. Hypersensitive to the complexity of beings, things and situations, you nevertheless know how to engage yourself, with ardor and without hesitation, in the inevitable struggles and confrontations. Dangerous activities do not scare you. Your taste for experience encourages you to confront the unfathomable unknown, discreet or marginal realities, behind the scenes. You can finally fight for lost or promised causes in a distant and hypothetical future.
Balanced dissonance : you switch alternately from a pressing need for action (Mars) to a cold insightful aloofness (Pluto), without being able to bring yourself to choose. Depending on whether one or the other function dominates in your experience, you can adopt the following attitudes :
If and when Mars dominates : you deploy constant activism to ward off your metaphysical despair, your intuition of the vanity and nothingness of all things, or to avoid being confronted with the vertiginous silence of being-in-itself. You refuse and fight radically any cold distance that could prevent you from feeling that you exist stronger, more intense. You are capable of making and unmaking—even destroying—anything, in defiance of any profound universal truth. The complexity and mystery of beings, things and situations is reduced for you to an elementary duality, to a schematic combat in which you commit all your violence and your aggressiveness. You brandish your personal experience against the heavy laws of the species. Your abrupt and desperate realism respects nothing, neither itself, nor the sacred, nor the enigmatic order of the universe.
If and when Pluto dominates : in the name of a profound truth intuitively revealed, you persist in denying personal experience any reality. No common sense, no elementary realism can make you doubt that the only thing that counts is an indecipherable and mysterious hidden order. Whether you barricade yourself in the silent contemplation of being-in-itself, in a radical metaphysical despair, a grating marginality, the dark prescience of an unspeakable fatality or in a black and pessimistic vision of the future of the species, you refuse in any way to get your hands dirty, to live through the necessary struggles and fights. Raw existence is unbearable to you, and you strive to annihilate it by the most varied means, preferably sneaky and corrosive. To live to live is for you an absurdity without name. Unclassifiable, implacable, inhuman, frankness like lies are only decoys for you that you use and misuse at your leisure.
If you learned to control this dissonance, you know that there is a time for deep intuitive brainstorming and a time for indulging in your liking for pure action, and know how to flawlessly alternate these two functions.
If you managed to sublimate this dissonance, you have deliberately sacrificed any fruitless and thoughtless frenzy of activity for the sake of a silent inner quest for your deep genuine self ; or you have abdicated any inclination towards absurdity and anarchism in favour of the concrete battles in which you feel involved.

La décision de ne traiter dans ce livre que des significations planétaires ne repose pas sur une sous-estimation du rôle des Signes du zodiaque et des Maisons. Pluton ne fait plus partie des planètes majeures de notre système solaire : telle est la décision prise par une infime minorité d’astronomes lors de l’Assemblée Générale de l’Union Astronomique Internationale qui s’est tenue à Prague en août 2006.
