The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive: they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the planetary family. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by a planetary family. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and of the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
Reduce to a duo-duel, to a confrontation, to lived experience, to personal feelings, to the sensorially experienced, to the emotionally lost, to their affective impact, all the standards, codes, concepts, theories, models, goals, projects, images, principles, symbols (‘R’), concrete and observable facts and phenomena (‘E’) and abstract, subtle, invisible, complex realities (‘T’).
Positive formula (‘e’ ou “small e” or “Intensive E”): Prioritize your sensory perception of images, things and the invisible. Make your experience, your feelings, what you feel, the only standard for judging the speeches you hear, the actions you must perform and the moods you experience. Let yourself express yourself and let yourself be guided by your crushes, your guts and your presentiments. To rely in all things on the quiverings of one’s affectivity. Have a strong appetite for life and share intense experiences that are tender, tumultuous and captivating. Make action, compassion and temptation exist in a stronger way. Let yourself be touched, hit, moved, shaken by everything that happens as much as you touch, hit, move, shake by your impact on the world.
Negative formula (“non-r, non-t” or lack of Intensive representation and of Intensive Transcendence): lack or rejection of overt authority and critical thinking. Principles and skepticism are down. Hence the excesses ‘e’: invading affectivity, dictatorship of feelings and anarchic emotions, thoughtless epidermal reactions, blind adherence to what one feels strongly.
Venus, Mars, and Neptune have in common the level-goal “existence” : for these three planetary functions, everything is reduced, focused, polarized on the felt, the experienced, the lived. Over there venusian function, a word, an image or a simple appearance (source-level ‘R’) are enough to provoke powerful affective, sensory and emotional reactions: laughter, tears or shivers (goal-level ‘e’), and we are less interested in the meaning of the words than in their sound, than in the echo they provoke in a sensitive sensitivity. Over there marsian function, experiences (source level ‘E’) is an inexhaustible reservoir of strong, intoxicating, turbulent sensations (goal-level ‘e’). For the neptunian function finally, subtle information, discreet signals, tiny variations of the atmosphere (source level ‘T’) reverberate in the sensibility in the form of disturbing impressions, strange sensations, ineffable emotions (goal-level ‘e’). In short, with the intensive existence trio, you live intensely to the rhythm of your turbulent desires, you react with your heart, with your guts, in total emotional authenticity, far from the scholarly abstractions or sophistications of social life. We are constantly moved, touched raw and in return we touch and move. Far from being pure spirits, we are beings of flesh and blood moved by their carnal appetites, their need to feel, feel, smell, taste, caress, hold in a perpetual hand-to-hand contact with beings, things and situations. Our moods and our feelings dictate their law, and have their own reasons that reason ignores. We fight for what we love, without trying to ask questions about the why and how of these instinctive acts.
When these three Planets are dominant in the chart of an individual, they make him an affective, sensory being, with epidermal and visceral reactions. His sympathies as his antipathies are strong, clear-cut, and have the force of law: those who do not share his inclinations, his instinctive attractions or repulsions, who do not vibrate on the same emotional frequency as him, he simply cannot “feel” them. For him, “tastes and colors are not debatable”. His emotional life is turbulent, explosive, intense and his feelings know no half measures: it is love or hate, everything rather than indifference and monotony. He elects his partners according to the emotional impact they create in his sensitivity: cultural or intellectual affinities hardly count in his choices. Superbly indifferent to conventions, he therefore intends to live his feelings, his eroticism, his sensoriality and his sexuality in broad daylight, to enjoy beings, things and situations through all the pores of his skin in permanent and exhausting heart-to-hearts. and hand-to-hand. It doesn’t take much to induce goosebumps, shivers, laughter to tears, or tears in his eyes. Love mess? Perhaps: but it is so exhilarating to abandon oneself to the intoxication of the senses, to the vertigo of love, to the ecstasy of the duet… which easily turns into a duel. Good confrontations spice up and give relief to feelings which, otherwise, could wither into sentimentality.
Obviously, it is difficult, with such a temperament, to make well-considered decisions, to impose a long-considered program of action, to distance oneself from its immediate reactions. The exhilaration of the moment, the sudden urge to live a voluptuous or burning experience, the dazzling and unpredictable surge of a new desire, the disturbing intuition that something strange and new could happen go to the against all self-discipline. It doesn’t matter to him any more than it matters to him what other people think of him. Is he being criticized for being too honest, too frank and too direct, for too often getting comfortable with the rules of good manners in the name of the authenticity of his feelings? He does not care. Let those who love him follow him: he leaves good manners to others, which for him are nothing but the hypocrisies of social life whose sole vocation is to prevent people from being fully themselves, calculations mean-spirited and self-serving.

Les significations planétaires
par
620 pages.
