The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
“Big P” issue (extensive Power). How to blend maintaining the absolute unique (Sun ‘rR’) with maintaining the absolute multiple (Pluto ‘tT’)? How to operate together a passionate involvement and maximum aloofness? How to maintain one’s certainties while staying inscrutable? This aspect excludes levels ‘E’ (sense of the concrete) and ‘e’ (affective sensoriality).
You are both simple and complex, unique and multiple, implacably precise and impeccably vague. What you already know makes you skeptical of all acquired knowledge, including your own. Your quest for recognition, esteem or unconditional admiration does not prevent you from keeping a cold distance from any role and any character. A master of double-dealing (at the very least), you impose your convictions while secretly measuring their total relativity, convinced as you are that everything implies its opposite. Firm, focused and vigilant about what is essential to you, you are nevertheless always ready to radically change the outlook. You consistently maintain your dominant goals while knowing and intuitively accepting that the unknown may force you to change course at any time. At the same time limpid and mysterious, transparent and enigmatic, you are in search of a power, both visible and invisible, over beings and things.
Balanced dissonance : you switch alternately from maintaining your certainties (Sun) to a cold insightful aloofness (Pluto), without being able to bring yourself to choose. Depending on whether one or the other function dominates in your experience, you can adopt the following attitudes :
If and when the Sun dominates : you armor yourself in the universe of your principles, models and ideals to ward off the threat of the unknown, of nothingness, of the absurd or of disorder. Your vigilant conscience, anxious to maintain your intellectual or cultural achievements, is on the lookout for the slightest grain of sand likely to derail the cogs of your universe. You believe you can roll back the inextricable complexity of beings and things by brandishing against it your simplistic and reductive explanations. You fear above all anonymity, obscurity and insignificance. To avoid having to plunge into the dizzying depths of your being, you rely on appearing, as if the affirmation of your individuality were a viaticum against death. Uncertain of your real identity, you play your role with dignity, childishly hoping never to disappear behind the scenes.
If and when Pluto dominates : you refuse or are unable to stick to any belief, certainty or guideline. In one way or another, you are an outcast, a lawless protester. Driven by an obscure but powerful internal necessity, you cannot help being disturbing, playing the anti-models, taking the exact opposite view of established knowledge and “normal” behavior. Through your heavy silences which perhaps say a lot, as in your words which worry, destabilize or intrigue, you constantly show your shift, your distance, your mystery, your radical otherness. Complex, coldly lucid, Machiavellian-calculator or annihilated-desperate, you are in any case perfectly indifferent to respect for individuality. This is why you may not hesitate to pull the strings of those whom you consider to be derisory puppets in the theater of the absurd.
If you learned to control this dissonance, you know that there is a time for deep intuitive brainstorming and a time for maintaining your convictions, and know how to flawlessly alternate these two functions.
If you managed to sublimate this dissonance, you have deliberately sacrificed acquiring any shallow certainties for the sake of a silent inner quest for your deep genuine self ; or you have abdicated any inclination towards absurdity and anarchism in favour of reliable models and rules.

La décision de ne traiter dans ce livre que des significations planétaires ne repose pas sur une sous-estimation du rôle des Signes du zodiaque et des Maisons. Pluton ne fait plus partie des planètes majeures de notre système solaire : telle est la décision prise par une infime minorité d’astronomes lors de l’Assemblée Générale de l’Union Astronomique Internationale qui s’est tenue à Prague en août 2006.
