The interpretation examples that we are suggesting are very far from being exhaustive : they only show and outline a general frame describing the issues of the aspect. They should therefore not be taken literally. Each being brings indeed its own responses, more or less original, to the questions raised by an aspect. There is no magic formula. Through using the R.E.T. and the Theory of Ages and combining logic, observation and imagination, you will be able to develop a thousand other possible meanings, a thousand other variations on the same theme.
“Big P” issue (extensive Power). How to blend maintaining the absolute unique (Sun ‘rR’) with maintaining duos and duels (Mars ‘eE’)? How to operate together a passionate involvement and a pressing need for action? How to maintain one’s certainties while staying frank and realistic? This aspect excludes levels ‘T’ (prospective imagination) and ‘t’ (cold critical thinking).
You constantly strive to reconcile the affirmation and maintenance of your principles and ideals, with your sense of struggle and confrontation. You impose yourself and become convincing through your sense of the field, of concrete realities. You want to be a model of action and realism. Your quest for recognition, esteem or unconditional admiration does not prevent you from keeping a practical mind and carrying out the battles that you consider essential. You know what you want and what you can, and deploy your energy to give yourself the necessary means to achieve your goals, without fear of rivalry and power struggles. Willing, determined, loyal and courageous, you fight for what you consider to be essential (an ideal, a model, a principle, a being). You are in search of a power, both visible and concrete, over beings, things and situations.
Balanced dissonance : you switch alternately from maintaining your certainties (Sun) to a pressing need for action (Mars), without being able to bring yourself to choose. Depending on whether one or the other function dominates in your experience, you can adopt the following attitudes :
If and when the Sun dominates : Imbued with yourself, your indisputable certainties or your status, above all you fear frank confrontations, egalitarian face-to-face encounters, the harsh realities of life. You maintain your principles, models and ideals at all costs despite common sense and realism. Against the stubborn logic of facts, you imperturbably oppose your dogmatic arguments. You willingly play the father-of-rigor, sagely sermonizing those who live at close range without concern for greatness or doctrine. Your obsession with impeccable order encourages you to attack any hint of movement or agitation authoritatively. Jealous of your uniqueness, you do not support any rival. Your concern to keep the pose and not to fall prevents you from taking life head on and from frankly expressing your natural impulses.
If and when Mars dominates : you claim a freedom of action that suffers no order, no goal, no constraint. Reactive, even aggressive, you willingly take on anything that represents authority. Viscerally undisciplined, you allow yourself to be dominated by your destructive impulses which make you a counter-example, a model not to be followed. You want to live at close range, to experiment live, without taking into account the laws, standards and models in use. Your messy dynamism attacks any form of conservative stasis. Your primary realism, aiming for immediate effectiveness, seems devoid of any idealism. Your vigorous, blunt frankness and senseless agitation seem to be the only laws you know and obey. Passionate, quarrelsome, the rules of social life are for you only hypocrisies against which you must fight without concession.
If you learned to control this dissonance, you know that there is a time for indulging in your liking for pure action and a time for maintaining your convictions, and know how to flawlessly alternate these two functions.
If you managed to sublimate this dissonance, you have deliberately sacrificed acquiring any shallow certainties for the sake of the concrete battles in which you feel involved ; or you have abdicated any fruitless and thoughtless frenzy of activity in favour of reliable models and rules.

La décision de ne traiter dans ce livre que des significations planétaires ne repose pas sur une sous-estimation du rôle des Signes du zodiaque et des Maisons.
